Winter Clothing Style for Men Admin November 29, 2014 Fashion, Men Fashion 4 Comments Fashion goes along with the season. Choosing over the same pair of clothes during different seasons is not fashionable. It doesn’t do any good to us too. For e.g.: wearing light clothes that are suited for summer during a winter season does not stand a chance against the beating cold. So choose your dress accordingly. Here are some fashion apparels that talk about men’s winter clothing style. Fabric: The first thing that we should look after when the climate suddenly changes in to a cold weather is choosing the right fabrics. The two most preferable fabrics that can be worn in winter include cotton and wool. Cotton does not keep you as warm as wool does but it keeps you geared up a little. It is extremely durable during harsh climates. Wool is the best fabric to be worn in a cold weather. It keeps you warm all day along. Coat: The coat that we wear for a normal day cannot be worn in a cold weather. Topcoat and overcoat are completely two different things. A topcoat is normally preferred during a spring or a fall season, whereas the overcoat is used during a cold weather. The lengths of the coats too differ. The topcoat normally looks like a suit. But an overcoat should stretch up to your knees. It is used to keep your legs warm. During winter, always wear a coat which is longer than your normal suit. Sweater: Wearing a sweater not only keeps you away from the cold, it also gives you an additional layer to work up on. The best type of wool that can be worn is cashmere wool. This wool looks luxurious and soft. Also watch out for the pattern and the color of the sweater that you opt for. The color and the pattern of the sweater should go along with the other layers. Choosing an attractive and a bright sweater will steal away the looks from the inner layers. So generally go for dark colored suits like navy blue, brown etc. Scarves: When you think about winter the first thing that comes in your mind are scarves. Wearing a scarf can keep your neck warm. It also gives a new shade of color to your outfit. When you feel that you need some extra warmth, you can wear a scarf under your overcoat too. But make sure that the color of the scarf goes along with your shirt and tie. Finally learn how to tie a scarf. Don’t tie it so funny that you resemble a cartoon character! Gloves & Hat: Gloves come in handy during a winter season. It helps you keep your hands warm. Leather gloves are generally preferable as they go in with the outfit naturally. Choose a glove that has more number of stitches. Finally top it off with a hat. Hats help in keeping your head warm. Without a hat the heat in the body is said to vanish off. So wear a hat that suits your clothing. Don’t look like a clown with mismatch hats. You should also wear a shoe during the cold winter. Without a shoe, your feet may go numb. Hiking shoes can be chosen over the normal shoes because they have long sleeves which keep an extra bit of the feet warm. Since you have learnt the art of winter clothing, it is now time to celebrate Christmas with the snowman. 4 Responses Craig Roggow December 18, 2014 I really liked your blog. Thanks Again.
