Her majesty saved ration cards to buy the material needed for the gown. The dress, stitched in ivory duchess satin, included 10,000 imported pearls, silver thread, and tulle embroidery.

3. Jacqueline Kennedy:

Ann Lowe, New York designer, is the source behind the wedding dress creation when she married John F Kennedy. The full-skirted dress with white gloves completed her looks.

4. Grace Kelly:

In addition, the dress featured 40,000 Swarovski crystals, 30,000 stones in gold shades, and 20,000 pearl teardrops. Armani used silk organza and duchesse silk for the dress. The 20m silk tulle embroidery consumed more than 100 hours that resulted in the finest of the art on the veil.
