As I was reading a local newspaper, I came across a case where a man had failed to go to work and even neglected his family because her mother was very ill in hospital. He used to visit her mother every day where he spent his entire day in the hospital. The mother tried to plead with the son to consider going to work and making up with his family but the son could not listen. To cut the story short, this man later could not be able to cater for his bus fare to the hospital and the treatment costs for her mother. He ended up losing his mother, his family and the standard life he used to live.
