According to Hindu culture it is believed that on the day of Diwali maa Laskmi come to our home and bless us with her blessing. It is also believe that Laskmi maa visit to only those homes which are beautiful.This is the mythological importance of decoration in Diwali. But when we have a beautiful home we always get a good vibes and that vibes help us to progress in life. Some of you may decorate your house to show your creativity and efforts. When it comes to decoration it is said that when the home is clean then only anything and be seems beautiful and if all useless if our house is not clean. To decorate your house first step is to clean your house to every corner and every side. Since the Diwali is festivals of light do remember to include bright and attractive colors in your room accessories. You can try out torants and latkans in your house. This gives an additional beauty to the house. You also can use different clothes hanging in the house as curtain this add elegance to your house. Diwali decoration is incomplete without decorating your puja house. You should give a special attention to the decoration of Mandir of your house. Firstly on Diwali replace all the old photo (not in good condition) frames of god with the new one. Use a bright color clothes like red or yellow color and spread it all over the Mandir place. Instead of using an artificial Maal for Murti of god put a Maal of real and fresh flowers. Use decorated Thalli for Aarti. You can also go for a small rangoli in front of your Mandir. Now it comes to decorating your house and Diwali decoration is incomplete without a Rangoli. Create a beautiful rangoli in front of entrance of your house. This is a way to welcome goddess Laskmi and any friends too. You can use bright colors and flower to create rangoli. Add diyas to the rangoli it give additional light and make is more attractive and beautiful. It is not necessary that you should go for white wash you can simplify changes by simply changing the living room deco. You can change the sofa clothes with brighter clothes and add lamps in your living rooms. You can use decorative candle in the living rooms as the market is full of such lovely candles. For decoration you can create a floating candle bowl for your dining and living room. Take a broad blow and add water to it and after adding water add rose petals and floating candle to it. Trust me it gives a fabulous tough to your dining and living room. You can use metallic showpiece in your living room. You can decorate your house and garden with light. We generally use lights outside the house, but for a change you can use that different colors light in you Mandir and rooms also and try to emphasize on use royal colors of lights. On the day of Diwali use should not forget to the serving trays and bowls. They show your choice and your creativity and sense of interior in you. You can use up to date cutlery to present snacks and sweets. Be well prepared and set all things ready so that you are present there to greet your guest not busy in your kitchen.
