“Traveling in a fried-out combie, on a hippie trail head full of zombie”, you’ve probably heard about these famous lyrics which describe just one segment of the journey through the famous Land Down Under. Well, seeing and experiencing so many things there, I have to admit that I was actually living my adventurous dream. Anything I could taste- I did, if I wanted to fly- I flied, I swam, ran, touched and felt everything that I wanted.

Paragliding

2

One of my first stops was actually Tunkalilla, a famous creek and a beach in the South of Australia. If you go there you must try paragliding because that is an experience that you will never forget. The takeoff is a treeless hill and the landing is a paddock in the bottom. I was a bit scared in the beginning, but when I started flying that was it. It was one of the best feelings that I ever had, and the beautiful picturesque sight that I have seen will always be remembered. The wind, the salt, the sun, everything was great and actually I was really good at landing in the end.

The Haunted Bookshop in Melbourne

After flying, I wanted to do something that is “on the ground”. I’ve read so many times about the famous Haunted Bookshop, that I had to visit it. It is one of the oldest and the most famous ghost tours here, and because I love spooky stuff I prepared myself to be shocked. So many different kinds of books, gothic jewelry, movies, posters, I haven’t seen in one place. The atmosphere was great, I got shivers down my spine the second the entered the bookshop. It is great for anyone who likes scary stories and myths and he will enjoy the ones that I have heard, I’ve actually had a feeling like somebody is there!

Uluru – Kata Tjuta Helicopter Adventure

3

This was actually my spoor of the moment, because I wanted to go out to visit famous pubs, but that comes later. This was a 30 minutes flight over the famous Australian Red Centre. The sight was extraordinary. Those colors I have never seen in my entire life, nor could the pictures describe them. You have to see them with your own eyes. I have to admit, I think I found my latest obsession which is flying.

Balloon flight over the Yarra Valley

5

Of course, I had to fly a bit more and I had an interesting champagne breakfast, so you probably know how this day will finish. I had one hour flight over the best wine regions in Australia, and you can even assist in launching the balloon if you want to. That was actually pretty cool and you must try it. The view was amazing, you could even smell the vine form the vineyards, and it is pretty relaxing. And after the flight I just had to continue my route to Sydney to famous pubs to talk about the things I’ve seen. It was actually a crazy day and night, I met a lot of people, went to huge parties with great music and in the end I just had to seal the day with getting tattoos in Sydney.

Swimming with dolphins

4

Now it was turn for a bit of water. I visited couple of famous beaches, but I never swam with dolphins. Rockingham bay was amazing. You even had the chance to dive a bit, and afterwards I had an amazing lunch there. Swimming with dolphins can be very healthy for your psyche, relaxing and once in a lifetime. It lasts around three hours, and you get the whole equipment that you need. I would really like to do it again, because I was fascinated with dolphins and diving.

You should also visit Kangaroo Island in the South Australia, Stanley in Tasmania, Coconut Island in Queensland, etc. and a lot of other places, because there is something for anyone. I have to admit, I will visit Australia again, because there are so many things that you can experience and see, like there is not enough storage in our brain to remember, but the feeling will stay forever.
